We set sail at sunset to enjoy a calm night navigation and take in the dark skies of the Bay of Cádiz — ideal for observing the celestial vault and its constellations.
On board our sailing yacht a Starlight Foundation–certified Astronomical Guide will interpret the night sky and explain the planets and the vast scale of the universe, using a star planisphere and the Stellarium app on a tablet.
An unforgettable evening with a light onboard tasting featuring local produce, as we sail beneath the stars.
Optionally, you can enjoy the virtual reality experience “A Journey Between the Sea and the Stars”, featuring Carl Sagan and Juan Sebastián Elcano, once we return to port.

What is the Sea Starlight experience?
A night sailing trip through the Bay of Cádiz to discover stars, planets, and constellations, guided by an astronomic instructor certified by the Starlight Foundation.
What time do we set sail?
We set sail at dusk, adjusting the schedule to the time of sunset. The experience lasts approximately three hours.
Where do we board?
In Puerto América (Cádiz city). You can access the port by car and park right next to the boarding point.
Do I need sailing experience?
No. The trip is always carried out with a professional skipper, so you can simply relax and enjoy the sea and the night sky.
What does the experience include?
Sailboat with skipper, astronomy guide, star chart, tablet app, binoculars, on-board tasting, drinks, and a glass of cava under the stars.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing, something warm, and the desire to enjoy Cádiz’s night sky. We take care of everything else.

SEA STARLIGHT Cádiz is a unique night sailing experience aboard a sailing yacht departing from Puerto América, guided by a Starlight Foundation–certified astronomical guide.
